The train will be displayed as “Kansai Airport Rapid Service” The destination will be Kyobashi or Tennoji (after a full loop, including a stop at Bentencho). You can buy a ticket for this train at any JR ticket office in Japan, including Narita and Kansai airports. The tickets are usually available a few days in advance, unless it's a holiday season. We'd advise you to buy the tickets as soon as you arrive in Japan.

Generally train stations in Japan close after the last train at nigh for cleaning and maintenance. You will not be able to stay at the station overnight. "No stopover permitted" means that you can't exit along the way and then re-enter Nankai line to continue to the final destination (Namba). You can exit at any station and transfer to any other line. After you exit at Tengachaya station you will need to pay the subway fare separately.

Tennoji is a major train station. There are many lockers throughout the station. During the day you can also store luggage at Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store Foreign Customer’s Salon.

Taking a shuttle back to the airport and taking Narita Express will be the fastest way to get to Tokyo. The alternative is to go to Narita station and take a local train that will take much longer to reach Tokyo.

Luggage can be kept overnight, up to three days. You make a payment for the first day when you deposit the luggage. When you pick up the luggage you need to make an additional payment for any extra time. Please note that the number of days is not calculated based on 24 hours. You initial deposit last until midnight, after midnight counts as a new day. The 7 day Japan Rail Pass + a separate, one way ticket from Nara/Osaka back to Tokyo is the most cost effective. The JR Pass need to be used on consecutive days. In Tokyo metro area Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen (from Hiroshima/Osaka) stops at Shinagawa and Tokyo stations.

Generally, infants and babies up to 5 years old travel for free (except when an infant or baby occupies his or her own reserved seat). All seats on Rapi:t Airport Express are reserved. If your daughter can seat on your lap then no ticket is required, if she needs a separate seat then a reserved ticket is needed. The regular Nankai Airport Express (not Rapi:t) is a commuter train with non-reserved seats. No ticket is required for a 2 year old. Generally, you can use a locker for a maximum of three days. After three days your property will be transferred to another storage area. If your property is not claimed from storage within 30 days it will be disposed of. Some hotels will store your luggage for a few days if you are staying there. You can also use a delivery service to send your luggage directly to your next destination or to the airport.

Nankai Koya line and the cable car are now operating normally. From Kyoto you can take a JR Rapid train to Osaka Station, change to the JR Osaka Loop Line to Shin-Imamiya Station. At Shin-Imamiya Station transfer to Nankai Koya line express train.
