  1. The fee for one item of luggage is 420 yen per day. You can leave luggage there for up to 15 days, but after 5 days the daily fee is doubled. The weight of the luggage doesn't matter.

  3. Going from JR East Travel Service Center to Odakyu Service Center is about 5-10 minute walk. You don't need to enter the station or pass through ticket gates. Turn right as you exit the JR East Travel Service Center, then turn right again, cross the street and walk around the station on the left side until you see Odakyu entrance.   4. The last trains depart around 0:30. The walkway between north and south sides will be open until that time. If your bus arrives later you can still walk around the station.
  5. The Kansai airport bus arrives at the bus stop on the south side of the station. http://www.kate.co.jp/en/busstop/detail/1823 Is will take about 5-10 minutes to walk to Kyoto Tower (north) side. You can ask the bus stop attendant for directions. It is not a problem to walk in this area around midnight.

  10. Hello Kitty Shinkansen operates as "Kodama 730" from Hakata to Shin-Osaka. Departing Hakata at 6:40am and arriving at Shin-Osaka at 11:13am. You can buy tickets at any JR ticket office in Japan. It's a good idea to make ticket reservations as soon as you arrive in Japan because this train is very popular.   11. When you enter ticket gates for the first time using your pass it gets stamped. If you use a regular ticket at Kyoto station, remain on board at Tsuruga and exit at Kanazawa you may be questioned why you don't have a stamp. Keep the Kyoto to Tsuruga ticket in case of any questions. It shouldn't be a problem as long as you can show the Kyoto to Tsuruga ticket.

  23. The fastest way to travel from KIX to Nankai Namba is by Nankai Airport Express Rapi:t. This train has dedicated luggage space.   24. Kansai One Pass is just a special version of ICOCA card. Both Suica and ICOCA are accepted all over Japan. Kansai Thru Pass is similar to JR Pass, but offers unlimited travel on non-JR railways in Kansai region for a set number of days. You can use either ICOCA or Suica to travel from Osaka to Shugakuin. Both are accepted on Keihan and Eizan lines.
