  3. On weekdays the first Nankai Airport Express leaves Namba station at 5:15 am and arrives at Kansai Airport at 5:58 am. On weekends the first Nankai Airport Express leaves Namba station at 5:10 am and arrives at Kansai Airport at 5:55 am.   5. There are some Nozomi shinkansen services that go from Kyoto to Hakata. Please note that Nozomi is not covered by the Japan Rail Pass. If you do not plan to use the Japan Rail Pass you can take Nozomi all the way to Hakata without any transfers. If you do plan to use the Japan Rail Pass you will need to take Hikari from Kyoto to Shin-Osaka and then transfer to Sakura to continue to Hakata. Transfers can be made in 10 minutes, but we'd recommend 20 to 30 minutes transfer time if you are not familiar with the station layout.   10. Online reservations from Hakata to Kyoto are not available. You can make reservations at any JR ticket office after your arrival in Japan. Trains on this route run frequently and tickets are usually available on the day of travel. We recommend making reservations a day or two in advance.
  11. Nankai Airport Express is a commuter train with seating similar to a subway car. There is no dedicated luggage space, but you will find that a lot of people with luggage take this train. You will have no problem taking your luggage on the Nankai Airport Express. Tickets can be bought at the airport station.   12. Please note that Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku is located near Shinjuku Station, not Shibuya. From Shinagawa Station take the Yamanote line to Shinjuku Station, then follow the signs to the New South Exit.
  13. The Shinkansen trains between Shin-Osaka and Kyoto run every 10-15 minutes. There is no need to book tickets in advance.

  16. You can take the Rapi:t train from Shin-Imamiya to KIX as long as you already have a valid ticket (not exchange voucher) or buy a ticket at the station. Vouchers can only be redeemed at Namba.

If you have heavy luggage and prefer to take a taxi it will cost around 1000 yen.

  21. Please note that Kanku Webtoku voucher can only be exchanged at Nankai Namba Station Service Center (2F). You cannot exchange the voucher for a ticket at Namba station (3F) and other stations such as Shin-imamiya sta. Tengachaya sta. and so on. After the voucher is exchanged for a ticket you can take the actual train from any station, including Tengachaya.
  22. Yes, there is a luggage delivery service at Kanazawa Station. Contact the Tourist Information Center near the station’s East Exit. Luggage sent to other cities is usually delivered on the next day.
  23. If you use separate tickets then you will need to exit ticket gates at Sengakuji and re-enter with Tokyo Subway pass. If you buy the special Weclome Tokyo subway pass you can stay on the train all the way to Asakusa.
  24. There is a special Welcome Tokyo Subway pass that includes Keikyu line one way or return from/to Haneda Airport and unlimited travel on Tokyo subway lines for 24, 48 or 72 hours. It is not possible to make a reservation without an actual activated JR Pass and the person who's name is on the pass. https://www.japanstation.com/japan-rail-pass-discounted-travel-on-japan-railways/ It is possible to buy tickets at a ticket counter in advance with cash. You will not get your money back with a JR Pass. The last Shinkansen train of the day from Shin-Osaka to Tokyo depart around 8:30pm. Another alternative is to spend the night in Osaka and take a Shinkansen train to Tokyo in the morning. The first train departs around 6am.
