andreiteo Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 Hi, my family and I are intending to go to Mount Koya from Namba Station. But I've read that heavy rain storm and typhoon closed Nankai Koya line and Nankai Koya Cable line. Is that true and if so how else can we get to Mount Koya? Thank you for the help! Quote
Japan Station Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 There is a substitute bus service between Hashimoto and Koyasan station. You can still make a trip to Koyasan, but it will take a little longer, around 2 and a half hours. This route can also get busy on weekends and during the holiday season. Japan Station Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 We don't have an estimate when the Nankai Koya line will be operational again. Please check Nankai Railway website for updates: http://www.howto-osaka.com/en/top.html Quote
