JTN
Hi, I'm planning on travelling from Osaka to Nara via the Kintetsu-Nara Line. I would like to use my Icoca Card. Which train service of the Kintetsu-Nara Line would I be eligible for (as some train services have more stops to make in between Osaka and Nara). * Local? * Suburban Semi-Express? * Semi-Express? * Express? * Rapid Express? * Limited Express? Thanks. JT
Japan Station
You can use an ICOCA card on all the services you mentioned, except Limited Express. Limited Express requires additional seat reservation charge. All other services have non-reserved seats. Quote Traveling from Osaka Namba Station, a Rapid Express train on the Kintetsu Nara Line will get you to Kintetsu Nara Station in 39 minutes for 560 yen. Limited Express services also run between Osaka Namba Station and Kintetsu Nara Station and take just 34 minutes, but they cost considerably more at 1,070 yen. https://www.osakastation.com/traveling-from-osaka-to-nara/
