This with the shinkansen and via Nagoya. Where and when should we buy tickets for this? Can this be done in 1 ticket for the entire route? Or are these different tickets? akdrv Posted April 4 Share Posted April 4 From Asakusa you will need to go to Tokyo Station to get on Shinkansen. Asakusa to Tokyo Station - subway or taxi. From Tokyo Station to Nagoya take Shinkansen train. Separate ticket. From Nagoya to Takayama take Hida Limited Express train. Separate ticket.
