  1. The Fuji Excursion is run by two railway companies: JR East and Fuji Kyuko. The Japan Rail Pass will cover the cost of the Fuji Excursion route between Shinjuku and Otsuki. For the Fuji Kyuko section between Otsuki and Kawaguchiko there will be extra charges.

Please check this article for more information: https://www.japanstation.com/fuji-excursion-limited-express-connects-tokyos-shinjuku-with-mount-fuji/

  2. Hello there,

You can also take an airport bus. You can read more about other options on this article: https://www.osakastation.com/traveling-between-osaka-and-kansai-international-airport/

This is the time table for one of the trains to Namba Station from Kansai International Airport: https://www.howto-osaka.com/global/pdf/traffic/timetable/fromkix_timetable_en.pdf

Japan is generally a safe place. However, I recommend you be careful in crowded or dark streets.

    I hope that helps.

    Best wishes,

  3. Hello there,

    1) The Super Hakuto is covered by the Kansai WIDE Area Pass as well as other limited expresses. However, Ōhara Station (Okayama) is the last stop inside the Kansai WIDE Area Pass' area, so you will need to pay the rest of the fare after that.

    2) How to get to Yura Station would be different depending on the date and time. So please use "Timetable and Route Search" on http://www.hyperdia.com/en/.

    3) If you are traveling all over Japan, The Japan Rail Pass might be useful too. Check this article for further infomation: https://www.japanstation.com/japan-rail-pass-discounted-travel-on-japan-railways/ These pages also have very detailed information about Kansai WIDE Area Pass and Sanyo-San'in Area pass.

    I hope that helps.

    Best regards,

You can find the fares and timetable here: http://www.kate.co.jp/en/timetable/detail/KY#from

    I hope that helps.
  5. Hello there,

    1) & 3) The N'EX TOKYO Round Trip Ticket is a return ticket between Narita Airport Terminals 1 and 2·3, and major stations in the Tokyo metropolitan area. 2) You will get 2 separate tickets.

    4) You can check the Narita Express' timetable here: http://www.eki-net.com/pc/jreast-shinkansen-reservation/english/wb/common/timetable/e_nex_d/index.html

  6. I am afraid you cannot send your luggage to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station. You can only send them to your hotel. However, they do have a storage service. It is 500 yen for one item of luggage per day at the Hokuto City Tourist Information Center in Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station: http://hokutoinfo.com/en/center-en/

To send your luggage to Haneda Airport, you could use the Yamato Transport Company: http://www.global-yamato.com/en/hands-free-travel/
    http://www.global-yamato.com/en/hands-free-travel/scene01.html
    http://www.global-yamato.com/en/hands-free-travel/scene02.html

    I hope that helps.

  11. Hello there,

ICOCA is a rechargeable IC smart card and is unrelated to the Japan Rail Pass: https://www.japanstation.com/japans-prepaid-transportation-cards-ic-cards/

Which is suitable depends on the trains you use. I believe you can get the necessary information at these links: About The Japan Rail Pass About ICOCA & HARUKA

The Japan Rail Pass covers all JR trains and most of the shinkansens but not the Nozomi or the Mizuho. These passes might be good choices for you: Kansai WIDE Area Pass Kansai Area Pass

    I hope that helps!

    Best wishes,
