Looking to travel from Shin-Osaka to Tokyo Station on Shinkansen Nozomi. There will be four adults traveling. I understand it is not totally necessary to purchase tickets ahead of time but I want to use my U.S. based credit card for the transaction. First, will a credit card be accepted? If not, how can I purchase the tickets ahead of time before we leave the U.S. If purchased in advance, will I have to exchange a voucher or something like that, or will I be able to print tickets and receipts at home?
