i'm arriving into New Chitose Airport at 8:30am . is ekiben store available at international terminal near Jr train station ?

hello  , i'm visiting Hokkaido for the first time in May , may i know which platform for jr train to Asahikawa in Sapporo station ? i'm travelling from chitose airport and  making a transfer at sapporo station to Asahikawa with Jr Hokkaido Pass , do i need to exit the gate and enter again at the station ? please advice the direction ,thanks in advance !
