Picking up the ticket outside the valid area will result in a reserved seat charge as though the pass were not being used. > Please collect your tickets before 9:00 p.m. (21:00, Japan Standard Time) of the day before your departure. Tickets cannot be collected on the day of departure. There are usually seats available on the day of travel. You can make seat reservations after you arrive in Japan and activate your pass.
