Japan Station Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 The voltage is slightly different (100V in Japan vs. 120V in the US), most phone/camera/laptop chargers will work fine. Some heating appliances, like hair dryers, irons, etc. will not work properly. The plugs are the same as in the US with two flat pins. Most power outlets will fit two flat pins, but not the third round pin. Quote
