peggy fong Posted March 16, 2017 Share Posted March 16, 2017 hello , i'm visiting Hokkaido for the first time in May , may i know which platform for jr train to Asahikawa in Sapporo station ? i'm travelling from chitose airport and making a transfer at sapporo station to Asahikawa with Jr Hokkaido Pass , do i need to exit the gate and enter again at the station ? please advice the direction ,thanks in advance ! Japan Station Posted March 16, 2017 Share Posted March 16, 2017 Hi Peggy, With a JR Hokkaido Pass you can reserve seats when you arrive at the JR station right at the New Chitose Airport. When you arrive at Sapporo station you can go directly to the other train, no need to exit the ticket gates.
