Nikko Tour Bus

I would like to know more about the Nikko Tour Bus that leaves from Bus Stop 2E outside Tobu Nikko Station. 

1] What is itinerary?
2] Is it available on November 21, 2024?

3] Since I live overseas, can I buy advance tickets online?

The Tobu bus tour from Bus Stop 2E was suspended during COVID and has not yet resumed.

Alternative Option 1

 

 

There is a bus tour between Tokyo and Nikko, and reservations can be made for this option.（LINK）

 

Itinerary:

Tokyo Station  (Departs at 8:00) 

Tamozawa Imperial Villa Memorial Park in Nikko (Free exploration / 40 minutes) 

Kanaya Hotel Bakery Cottage Inn (Lunch / 50 minutes) 

Nikko’s Rinnoji Temple, Toshogu Shrine, Futarasan Shrine (Guided tour, includes visits to two shrines and one temple / 130 minutes) 

Shinkyo Bridge (view from bus) 

Tokyo Station (Arrival at 18:00)

Alternative Option 2

 

Another option is using regular route buses in Nikko.（LINK）

A free pass covers major World Heritage sites, but there’s no guide and no reservations.

Passengers have to board and alight on their own according to the time schedule of bus.
