Scenic train from Kameoka Torokko to Sago-Arashiyama

Recommended Posts

I will go to Kameoka Torokko Station directly from Namba station then take the scenic train to Saga-Arashiyama station so that I will be free to spend the rest of my day in the Arashiyama area at my leisure.(i/o taking the two-way scenic train).

Will I be able to buy the ticket for the one way to Arashiyama areas on 25Dec or can I book the ticket online?

Please advise if this is a good option?

You can check seat availability on the Sagano Romantic Train website: https://sagano-kanko.co.jp/en/kuseki.php

Tickets can be bought on the day of travel, but during peak periods, the trains are very busy, so it is a good idea to reserve tickets in advance to avoid disappointment. You can do this up to one month in advance at an JR West ticket office. It is also possible to reserve tickets for the train at major travel agencies throughout Japan.
