Is it possible to catch a small (kogata) taxi pretty much anywhere in Kyoto? Also, hailing a taxi on the street, can I easily tell by looking at the approaching cab what size it is? I'm thinking, for example, of being at a station like Hanazono, or hailing a cab on the street near Ryoanji or along Higashioji-dori. I understand that at Kyoto Station, there are separate ranks for the 3 different sizes of taxis, but I'm wondering if elsewhere it will be problematic to catch a kogata cab.
