Hello We are travelling to Japan very shortly (in 2 weeks) for a wedding on Kobe Island and then staying in Osaka for a few days before heading off to Tokyo. My question is do we try and purchase a bullet train ticket now or simply wait until we are there and buy one on the day of travel? As this will be the only train trip purchasing a rail pass is not viable. Thank you in anticipation. Peter
